Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. What CXComply is

CXComply is an automated scanning tool that reviews publicly available information about a website — HTTP responses, DNS records, SSL certificates, publicly accessible pages and the privacy policy — and produces a report describing probable security and privacy compliance risks. CXComply is operated by [COMPANY NAME / SOLE TRADER NAME] ("we", "us").

2. Not legal advice

CXComply is not a law firm, regulator or certified auditor. Reports identify probable risks, not confirmed breaches of any law, and do not constitute legal advice. Findings are automated assessments and may contain errors. You should verify significant findings and consult a qualified professional before making compliance decisions.

3. Passive scanning only

CXComply only accesses publicly available information. We do not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, bypass authentication, or access protected systems. By submitting a domain you confirm that you own it, manage it, or are otherwise authorised to review it, and that you understand the scan reviews publicly available information only.

4. Payments and refunds

Paid reports are one-time purchases processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. If you believe a finding in your report is materially inaccurate, contact us within 14 days — if we got it wrong, we will refund you.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for business decisions made on the basis of scan results, for indirect or consequential losses, or for the actions of third parties. Our total liability in connection with any report is limited to the amount you paid for it.

6. Report usage

Reports are generated for the customer who purchased them. You may share your report with your own staff, developers, and professional advisers. Public redistribution or resale requires our written permission.
